We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.

  • Scripture Checker App (Free Users — No Data Collected): For users of the Scripture Checker app who use the app for free, we do not collect personal data from you through the app (no account required and no personal information requested for free use).

  • Visual/Audio Data (If Voluntarily Provided): If you interact with our audio theatre or community features where content can be posted or submitted, we may collect content you voluntarily share.

These Master Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Melanated Scripture ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms govern your access to and use of the websites located at melanatedscripture.com and melanatedscripture.org, our Shopify storefront, the Scripture Checker mobile application, and all other digital platforms, services, and products owned or operated by Melanated Scripture (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately cease use of all Services.

1. MISSION AND SERVICE OVERVIEW

Melanated Scripture is a faith-based enterprise dedicated to bringing the Bible to life through cinematic audio theatre, powerful devotionals, faith-inspired apparel, and culturally relevant children's books. Our Services are designed to provide authentic representation of Black Christian identity and provide scripture-based products for every generation.

2. ELIGIBILITY

By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction. If you are under the age of 18, you may only use the Services under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms.

3. OWNERSHIP AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

All content, features, and functionality on our Services—including but not limited to cinematic audio recordings, cinematic art, book manuscripts, illustrations, "We Met Yeshua Today" series content, Scripture Checker app content and algorithms, apparel designs, logos, and the "Melanated Scripture" brand name (collectively, "Company Content")—are the exclusive intellectual property of Melanated Scripture and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

User Restrictions / No Unauthorized Use: You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, sell, license, or otherwise exploit any Company Content without our express written consent.

No Scraping / Automated Collection: You may not access the Services through automated means (including bots, scrapers, crawlers, or similar tools) or use any automated process to extract, copy, record, download, or collect Company Content (including our cinematic art or audio), except as expressly permitted in writing by Melanated Scripture.

4. PRODUCT SALES AND SHIPMENT

All purchases made through our Shopify store or Amazon affiliate links are subject to product availability. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer.

  • Pricing: Prices for our books, apparel, and merchandise are subject to change without notice.

  • Shipping & Returns (All Sales Final): All physical product shipments and returns are governed by our Shipping & All Sales Final Policy (which is incorporated by reference). All sales are final. Digital products, including eBooks and audio theatre downloads, are non-refundable once delivered.

5. ACCESSIBILITY (ADA COMPLIANCE)

No Ownership Claim by Company: We do not claim ownership of User Content.

11. ICC ARBITRATION CLAUSE

All disputes arising out of or in connection with the present contract shall be finally settled under the Rules of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce by one or more arbitrators appointed in accordance with the said Rules.
